Hogg Motorsport Preparation is a business which started as a clubman rallying team. Primarily, it is a company which prepares and hires Mitsubishi rally cars.

Current customers of Hogg Motorsport Preparation include Andrew Stewart and Martin Howley. Andrew is contesting the Group N category of the Irish Tarmac Championship in a right-hand-drive Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI. Prior to this year, his best result was second overall on the 2002 Donegal Harvest Stages Rally. Martin is using a Group A specification Lancer Evo V. His best result to date is third in his class in Galway.

Richard Hogg, the brains behind Hogg Motorsport Preparation, also competes regularly using a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII. The Limavady man is the current Group N Northern Ireland Stage Rally Champion after six class victories on the first six rounds of the series. Last year he led the Group N category on the Scottish Rally Championship until the final round when three punctures in the one day dropped him out of contention. This is a chapter which Richard feels he needs to close and plans are already in place to return to Scotland in 2004 for another assault on the Scottish Group N title.
